    I’m sorry for the fact that my article was not up. But truth is, I DID post it last night. I published it and logged out and left it for reviews. I honestly don’t know what happened. Maybe it was that I had put it on quickly and didn’t check to see if it was there. I’m SO sorry for this inconvinience. I will have my article published once more on my page today.

    hey listen for my next features article this week, mr. weiss gave me approval to write about random students and you know a short bio. on them.
    How should I go about it? Like, really go up to someone and ask if they wanna be in it, or have like a flyer up in classrooms and let the students come to me whoever wants to do it? and you know the first to meet me that week or so will be it? i don’t know.
    what do you think?

    hey ok well you know how i did the security gaurd article? The Random Student article be similar to it. You know the Athlete of the Week or something article that was written by Jocelyne i think, ok well yeah. I’ll just randomly choose a student or however it’ll be handle and basically write about them.
    do you kind of get it now???

    umm, on Novembr 16th there is a field trip to the Marriot for MBSH Alumni Hall of Fame… that should DEF be covered. It’s this fridayyyy !

    oops, sry, i forgot.. also Tomorrow morning is the AOHT Stars breakfast.. it’s to recognize all students with a 3.0 GPA or higher.. teachers will be serving students their breakfast, haha.

    hey I have my article up already.
    I was really confused on how to write it correctly and ask Mr. Weiss for help.
    If I wrote it right, then I got the hang of it and I already know who I’m going to interview next for the next random student.
    Kind of took me long because you had told me to ask recommendations from teachers but mr. weiss told me it wouldn’t be random so i had to go back to what i thought.

    I was also wondering what happened to that article I did on gay acceptance. The final article is under Oct. 2 on my blog. I’m sorry to keep bothering you about it but I think its something that students at the school could benefit from reading. So check it out and get back to me, I dont care when its done as long as its ready for this semesters paper. If that could happen that’d be great.

    and i have good quotes and stories from AJ’s friends so i’ll have a separate section for the stories about him.
    ANNDDD for the pedometer contest story you want me to cover, I’ll talk to ms. tenniswoods (lol i have no idea how to spell that) to tell me the teachers that are competing since she’s the one running this thing (that’s what Mr. Weiss told me but he’s unsure) and i’ll ask the teachers about it and stuff. =]]]

    hey i’m almost done with the stories from AJ but when i write his story, do i make it into a long quote by him or write from what i heard of the story but 1st person oo 3rd person???

    hey umm about the pedometer contest, i read the feedbacks and stuff but are the quotes alright? Or should i get more quotes from other teachers?

    Hey
    Ive started interviewing Mrs.Meyerchord(Zananiri) about how stressfull it is to be pregnant and going through the move. Wiess said it was a good idea so im doing that as well. About the teachers’ breaks i havent found anything interesting yet but ill keep trying. I was hoping I could turn in the first draft on the Meyerchord article instead, its more likely ill have that done by thurs.

    for the ASPIRA article, i did try to find out what the club was about, but one of the members are in my class and she couldn’t really explain it to me. So i went to the president for her to explain but she couldn’t really put it into words. SOOO i went to the advisor, Yeney Rodriguez and she basically told me everything that i had already put in my article. The ASPIRA club doesn’t really have one specific purpose. I don’t know.

    Now, the article ideas; “venture away from club” ok i can do that, but then i don’t know what i’m interested in when it comes to features. All i know about features is that it’s about clubs and profiles on people. But i feel the people in features are all doing profiles so i don’t want to do that.
    I asked Weiss for help, but it didn’t help me at all. =/

    yes i have been surveying students in a lot of different classes and mostly in upper grade levels. (juniors and seniors since they have more experiences with teachers from past years)
    but mr. weiss told me to get freshmen perspectives so i did as well. i was only going to survey 100 students but now mr. weiss told me i should do like 400. so what ima do is give out a bunch of papers to some of the people in my journalism class to give out in their classes and in their other electives.
    that’s it for now. =)

    Alot of people have been telling me that the chess team is amazing but isnt popularized…..is that true? because i saw the trophy in the office. does that count as public attention??     Ok so you already know i’m profiling Mr. Spiegelman (voted funiest teacher by students)And my next features article I’ll also be working on will be about The AOHT Senior Class Auction Result and the money won (and the fact that they’re planning on going to London with the money)
    I will interview Ms. Alvarez, the students in the club and those that supported by bidding
